Smart substation gradually becomes a new trend in the industry development

Since 2011, the State Grid Smart Substation has entered a period of rapid development, and has included 641 smart substations (which are different from the new generation of smart substations and standard distribution-type smart substations for special tenders) in the State Grid to collect regular batch tenders (in order to maintain the same ratio The consistency, the statistics did not contain 35kV voltage level), an increase of 14.1%. Although the growth rate was significantly narrowed due to the year-on-year basis, the number of tenders remained large.

In the first half of 2011, 2012 and 2013 respectively, 284 sets of smart substation monitoring systems, 1050 sets and 641 sets of intelligent substation monitoring systems were tendered. The smart rates were 23.2%, 60.9% and 64.4%, respectively. It can be seen that smart substation construction in the first half of 2013 The scale and intelligence rate remained at a high level despite the fact that the third tender intelligence rate had dropped (45.6%, and the third tender intelligence rate was 36.4% for the same year-round low in 2012), but we think that 2013 The intelligentization rate of centralized tender substations of the State Grid is expected to continue to rise; it is possible to verify the rebound of the substation monitoring system scale and smart rate in the fourth batch of power transmission and transformation equipment of State Grid in 2013. Therefore, we insisted on the previous judgment that the comprehensive promotion and construction of smart substation will drive the continuous growth of demand for products such as substation intelligent monitoring and intelligent relay protection.

In the first two batches of 2013 centralized bidding (excluding special bids), a total of 13 companies were awarded bids, of which 12 were intelligent control systems winning bids and 11 traditional monitoring systems winning the bid. Among the listed companies, Sifang Stock, Changyuan Group, and Guodian Nanrui have a higher share of successful bids, and their respective successful bids in the smart and traditional substation markets of 110 (66) to 750kV exceed 10%.

In addition, a major feature of the construction of smart substations in 2012 was the diversification of technology routes. In December 2012, State Grid launched a new generation of smart substation demonstration project construction, including six pilot projects: Chongqing Hechuan 220kV Dashichang, Wuhan Future Science and Technology City 110kV East Expansion, Tianjin 110kV High-tech Park, Beijing 220kV Future City Change and 110kV seafall and 110kV leaf ponds in Shanghai will be completed and put into production by the end of 2013. The new generation of smart substations is characterized by "integrated intelligent equipment and integrated business systems". It will realize the transition from professional design to integrated design. The transformation from one-device intelligence to intelligent primary equipment is an integrated application of advanced and applicable technologies. Shen Guorong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, summarized the characteristics of the new generation of power transformation technologies with "a highly integrated system, a rational layout of structures, advanced and applicable equipment, and economical energy conservation and environmental protection."
