On the afternoon of June 17, Song Shujie, the Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee of Xiangyang City, and Wang Xinting, the Mayor of the city, led a team from various relevant departments to conduct an on-site inspection and work session at the Zhengzhou New Materials Industrial Park. During the visit, they reviewed the progress of several key projects and infrastructure developments, and made arrangements to accelerate their implementation.
During the field investigation, Song Shujie and Wang Xinting visited multiple locations within the park, including the sewage treatment plant, the intersection of roads No. 12 and No. 17, the Wicknow factory, and the Suohe substation. They inspected the progress of new projects such as the Wicknow plant, Yucheng project, and standardized factory buildings, while also addressing challenges encountered during construction.
Song Shujie emphasized that all relevant departments should enhance coordination, unify their thinking, and carefully plan and deploy resources in order to ensure that projects yet to start are launched as soon as possible. For ongoing projects, he urged accelerated progress and integration with the party's mass line education activities. He stressed the importance of conducting work efficiently and solidly, ensuring that every task is carried out with precision and commitment.
The park management committee was encouraged to closely collaborate with other departments, streamline procedures, and clearly assign responsibilities. The municipal, local, financial, and environmental protection committees were advised to work together and fulfill their roles effectively. Local towns and villages were instructed to define their responsibilities clearly and engage with the public patiently and thoroughly.
The supervision office was tasked with intensifying oversight to ensure that all projects proceed smoothly according to schedule, aiming for early results. Additionally, efforts should be made to optimize the economic environment and combat illegal activities that disrupt construction progress, providing strong support for each project’s development.
Wang Xinting provided detailed feedback and specific requirements regarding preparatory work before project commencement and issues arising during the park’s development.
