The explosion-proof performance of these motors complies with GB3836.1-83 "General Requirements for Explosion-Proof Electrical Equipment in Explosive Atmospheres" and GB3836.2-83 "Explosion-Proof Electrical Equipment - 'd' Type".
The power range of the motor is from 0.55 kW to 200 kW, with frame sizes ranging from 80 mm to 315 mm in center height. The explosion-proof markings include dI, dIIAT4, and dIIBT4, suitable for coal mine underground fixed equipment or industrial environments where flammable gas vapors (IIA, IIB) and air form explosive mixtures, operating in temperature classes T1 to T4. The motor housing has an IP55 protection rating, and it can also be manufactured with IP54. The junction box also meets IP55 standards. The rated frequency is 50 Hz, with a rated voltage of 380 V or 660 V. The insulation class is F, but the temperature rise of the stator winding is evaluated according to Class B, providing a larger safety margin.
In the fan industry, a specialized version of the low-voltage explosion-proof motor is available as the YBF series, with frame heights ranging from 63 mm to 160 mm.
**Key Features of Explosion-Proof Blowers**
(1) The power level, installation dimensions, and rotational speed correspond to DIN42673. The design takes into account the compatibility of the YB series and the interchangeability of the Y2 series, with necessary modifications to ensure better applicability.
(2) The entire series uses Class F insulation, with temperature rise assessed based on Class B. The explosion-proof mechanism mainly relies on dielectric isolation of ignition sources to prevent explosions.
(3) The noise limit is lower than that of the YB series and is close to the I-class noise level. The vibration limit is comparable to that of the YB series.
(4) The shell protection rating has been upgraded to IP55.
(5) Low-noise deep-groove ball bearings are used throughout the series. For motors with a center height of 180 mm or higher, an oil drainage device is included.
(6) The cooling fins are arranged either parallel horizontally or radially, with a preference for parallel horizontal distribution.
