Aluminum Honeycomb Panels

These composite materials combine two aluminum honeycomb layers with a honeycomb core. Depending on the specific requirements of the curtain wall application—such as functionality and durability—the thickness of the honeycomb aluminum panels can vary, typically ranging from 10mm to 25mm. For instance, a 10mm honeycomb aluminum panel might consist of a 1mm front aluminum sheet paired with a 0.5-0.8mm back aluminum alloy sheet and honeycomb core. Panels thicker than 10mm generally use 1mm aluminum alloy sheets. The honeycomb core is usually made of aluminum foil, though other materials like glass fiber-reinforced plastic honeycomb or paper honeycomb are occasionally used, though they are less common in practice. Due to their relatively high cost, honeycomb aluminum panels are not as widely used as other alternatives.

Fireproof Panels

Fireproof panels are constructed using a metal sheet (such as aluminum, stainless steel, color steel, titanium-zinc, titanium, or copper) as the outer layer, with a halogen-free, flame-retardant inorganic material forming the core layer. These panels are manufactured through a hot-pressed composite process and classified under GB8624-2006 standards into two combustion performance categories: A2 and B. Their fire-resistant properties make them ideal for applications where safety and compliance with building codes are critical.
