The solid grouting material consists of a suspension of solid particles and water. It is easy to obtain, low in cost, simple in construction, and has good anti-seepage or consolidation ability, but the width of the gap that can be filled is limited by the fineness of its solid particles. There are four kinds of solid grouting materials: clay slurry, cement slurry, cement clay slurry and cement fly ash slurry.
1 clay slurry. Use the earliest grouting material. The clay has fine particles and small water permeability. The prepared slurry has good stability and low price, but its stone strength and adhesion are low, and the ability to resist osmotic pressure is weak. It is only used for temporary anti-seepage of low head. In the project.
2 cement slurry. The most used grouting material is currently used. It has good cementation performance, high stone strength and convenient construction. It is suitable for filling gaps with a width greater than 0.15 mm or a rock formation with a permeability coefficient greater than 1 m/day. When grouting a rock with a wide gap or a rock mass with a large groundwater flow rate or a large amount of slurry, sand is often added to the cement slurry to reduce the shrinkage deformation when the slurry is hard, increase the cohesive force and reduce the loss.
Cement slurry is the most widely used in various grouting materials, and is used for reinforcement of rock, foundation or structure, anti-seepage and plugging, joint treatment of dams, tunnel grouting of post-tensioned prestressed concrete, and grouting concrete.
3 cement clay slurry. It combines the advantages of high stone strength of cement slurry and good slurry stability and low price of clay slurry. It has a wide range of use and can choose different cement-clay mix ratio according to different requirements.
4 Cement fly ash slurry. The fine particles of fly ash are good in stability and fluidity with cement and other cementitious materials, and are widely used in grouting engineering.
In order to improve the performance of the solid grouting material, an admixture such as a plasticizer or a coagulant is sometimes blended.
