1. Products for which the fastener manufacturer identification mark is applicable
Bolts, studs, hex nuts and hexagonal (flower-shaped) cylindrical heads made of carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel or non-ferrous metals according to GB/T3098 (ISO898, ISO3506, etc.) "Standards for mechanical properties of fasteners" For the screw product, the “performance level†and “fastener manufacturing (or distribution) identification mark†(hereinafter referred to as the identification mark) shall be produced.
2. The identification mark is different from the trademark and should be uniformly coordinated, confirmed and announced.
Chapter 3 of GB/T90.2 "Fastener Marking and Packaging" stipulates: "The markings on fastener products shall comply with the national standards of fasteners and industry standards. Among them, 'fastener manufacturer's identification mark' (or the fastener dealer identification mark) is different from the trademark, which belongs to the scope of standardization and product quality, and should be uniformly coordinated, confirmed and announced by the national standardization body."
3. Introduction to the coordination, confirmation and announcement of China's identification marks
1) On July 6, 1987, ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) sent a letter to the former National Bureau of Standards saying that the US Department of Defense only purchased fasteners that registered the manufacturer's identification mark at ASME. The manufacturer's identification mark has become a guarantee of manufacturing quality... ASME requests all ISO member bodies to contact their national fastener manufacturers... To this end, in August of the same year, the former National Bureau of Standards sent a letter to the former National Machinery Industry Council Standardization Institute and the National Fastener Standardization Technical Committee Secretariat, requesting the organization, coordination, confirmation and announcement of the “fastener manufacturer identification markâ€. . Due to the qualifications related to my export of fasteners to the United States, after deciding with the Ministry of Machinery Industry Committee General Machinery Bureau and Quality Department of China's fastener production production department, it was decided to be standardized by the former National Machinery Industry Committee. The Institute is responsible for launching the unified coordination and confirmation of the “fastener manufacturer identification markâ€. On October 14, 1987, the company announced the “First Confirmed Fastener Product Mark†and notified ASME.
2) After the unified coordination and confirmation of the specific operation identification marks by the Secretariat of the National Standardization Technical Committee of Fasteners, on December 1, 1990, the second batch was issued by the National Standardization Technical Committee for Fasteners. Confirmed fastener product logo.
3) In the 21st century, with the adjustment of the product structure of the machinery industry, the specialized manufacturers of fasteners have changed greatly, and the signs are confused. To this end, after the request of the former State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, the Secretariat of the National Fastener Standardization Technical Committee re-registered, coordinated and confirmed the "Fastener Manufacturer Identification Mark", and on August 20, 2000 The “First Identification of Manufacturers' Identification Marks for Manufacturers of Fasteners†was issued, and the “Second Batch of Confirmed Fastener Manufacturer Identification Marks†was issued on May 10, 2001.
4) Due to the confirmed and issued identification marks, the validity period of the certificates has expired, and the reforms and adjustments have been deepened. Some enterprises have cancelled, reorganized, relocated, renamed, and many new fasteners specialized production enterprises, as well as applications. The enterprise that modifies the original mark, so the identified fastener manufacturer's identification mark is increasing year by year, the manufacturer's identification mark coordination, confirmation and release work is gradually normalized, and it is divided into wholesale.
5) With the rapid development of online media, since 2008, the “announcement by wholesale distribution†has been suspended, and the electronic version has been published on the relevant websites and forwarded in the professional journals of fasteners.
6) The practice of “paper announcement†is not recognized by all parties, but it is not easy to cause confusion due to the “public cloth announcementâ€, and there are inconveniences such as inquiries. Therefore, the National Fastener Standardization Technical Committee Secretariat decided since April 2012. Restore the "release announcement". For ease of reference, the logos issued each time are complete, not the same batch, so the concept of “batch†no longer appears.
4, the identification mark is by no means optional, whether the product quality is guaranteed, whether the company is honest
As long as the GB/T3098 "Mechanical Properties of Fasteners" series is quoted, its type size is standard, such as GB/T5782 "Hexagon Head Bolt" or GB/T6170 "Type 1 Hex Nut", or non-standard The performance grade code and the manufacturer (or distributor) identification mark shall be produced on the fastener product. Otherwise, it should be treated as a substandard product. On each fastener product sold, the production of its own identification mark according to the standard requirements, indicating that the quality of its own products dare to be permanently responsible, but also reflects the integrity of the company!
5, "identification mark use certificate" has a deadline, welcome supervision
All the announcements are the identification marks of the “use certificate†within the validity period. Therefore, it provides the simplest basis for visual inspection of fastener product quality and corporate integrity. In this way, it can not only prevent disorderly production, prevent counterfeit and shoddy products, but also play a positive role in protecting the rights of production, sales and users.
