How to use and precautions

Before measuring, tighten the test bar wiring to the two terminals and adjust the pointer to the zero mark.

The test bars that are connected to the binding posts are placed at the two points to be measured (such as: rails, water pipes, cable jackets, coal, earth, etc.), and the two measuring points should be on different conductors. The measuring point distance is about 2 meters. , Normally measured once every 50-100M, or temporarily determine the test point as needed. When the switch is set to the proper position, the meter indication value is converted to the corresponding current value.

During the measurement, the carbide tip of the measuring probe is in good contact with the measured object, and the meter should be placed horizontally to ensure accurate reading.

When stray currents cannot be measured at one location, DC stray currents should also be tested, and vice versa.

When measuring the stray voltage value, the gear positions are: 50mA corresponds to 0.2V, 250mA corresponds to 1V, 1A corresponds to 4V, 5A corresponds to 20V, and 10A corresponds to 40V. (In other words, the current value multiplied by 4 is the voltage value)
