Maintenance and maintenance of air conditioning fans

Using air conditioning fans can be a great way to stay cool during the summer, but it's important to know how to use, store, and clean them properly. Here are some helpful tips to ensure you get the most out of your fan:

First, always place your horizontal air conditioning fan on a flat surface and avoid tilting it. Before turning it on, double-check that the power supply matches the specifications listed on the fan’s nameplate. This helps prevent damage and ensures safe operation.

If your fan is frequently used with water or left unused for long periods, make sure to fill the water tank before each use. The water level should be visible via the water mark, and you should only fill it up to near the "maximum" line. Never overfill, as this can cause leaks or malfunction. After filling, close the cover and start the fan. Keep an eye on the water level—if it drops near the "minimum" mark, refill it immediately to maintain cooling efficiency.

For better performance, use the included ice crystals. Store one in the freezer overnight and place it in the water tank the next day. This will significantly enhance the cooling effect, especially on hot days.

When using the humidification feature, first add water to the tank. Once the fan starts, it will begin to lower the temperature of the air. For even better results, use cold or ice-cold water if available. You can also add a few drops of essential oils or fragrances to the water for a refreshing, aromatic breeze. This is a great way to feel refreshed and comfortable during the hottest months.

Most air conditioning fans have a swinging function. To activate it, press the "wind direction" button once until the "swinging wind" light turns on. The fan will then automatically move left and right, covering a wider area. If you prefer a steady airflow, press the button again to switch to "directional wind." You can also adjust the vertical angle by manually moving the air guide, allowing you to direct the airflow exactly where you need it.

For long-term storage, it's important to clean the water tank thoroughly. Let the fan run at normal temperature for a while to dry out the internal parts, especially the filter. Once completely dry, place the unit in a sealed plastic bag for future use.

To keep your fan in top condition, it's recommended to clean it every two weeks. Follow these steps: (1) Unplug the device, (2) Remove the back cover by loosening the screws, (3) Carefully take out the filter and back cover, (4) Mix a mild detergent with water, (5) Soak the filter and cover in the solution for 10–15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water—avoid getting the motor wet, (6) Reinstall the components and secure the back cover.

By following these simple guidelines, you can enjoy the full benefits of your air conditioning fan while extending its lifespan and ensuring safe, efficient operation.
