Introduction of sheet types

Introduction to Sheet Types:

MDF: Medium Density Fiberboard, or MDF, is a type of engineered wood made from wood fibers combined with adhesives like urea-formaldehyde. It comes in three densities: high, medium, and low. Known for its smooth surface and ease of cutting, MDF is widely used in furniture manufacturing abroad. However, in China, the quality of MDF doesn't always meet international standards, and there's still room for improvement in terms of durability and environmental safety.

Blockboard: Also known as large core board, this material consists of two veneer layers with a central core made of strips or blocks. It’s more affordable than thin-core boards but has lower strength in the vertical direction. That said, it performs well in lateral bending, making it a popular choice for certain applications where cost is a key factor.

Decorative Panel: These are decorative sheets that feature a single-sided finish, often made by slicing a solid wood board into thin veneers (about 0.2 mm thick) and using a splint as a base. This technique results in a 3 mm thick panel, which is considered a premium finishing material. Unlike traditional methods, it offers a modern and elegant look, ideal for high-end interior design projects.

Particleboard: Made primarily from wood chips mixed with glue and other additives, particleboard is pressed into sheets. There are two main types: extruded and flat-pressed. While it's cost-effective, it's not as durable as other materials and is typically used for less demanding applications.

Fireproof Board: This is a composite material made from silicon or calcium-based compounds, along with fibers, lightweight aggregates, and adhesives. It’s not only fire-resistant but also versatile for various uses. High-quality fireproof boards can be more expensive than decorative panels, and they usually come in thicknesses of 0.8 mm, 1 mm, and 1.2 mm. Proper installation requires strong adhesive due to its rigid structure.

Plywood: Commonly referred to as a thin core board, plywood is constructed from three or more layers of thin veneers bonded together. It's one of the most commonly used materials in handmade furniture. Plywood is available in various thicknesses, including 3 mm, 5 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm, 15 mm, and 18 mm, making it highly adaptable for different projects.

Melamine Board: Full name is melamine impregnated film paper veneer wood-based panel. It involves soaking paper with color or texture into melamine resin, drying it, and then pressing it onto particleboard, MDF, or hardboard. Melamine boards are often used as wall coverings, but they are not recommended for flooring due to their lack of wear resistance.

Gypsum Board: Made mainly from gypsum and plaster, this material is lightweight, fire-resistant, and easy to cut. When combined with light steel keels, it forms a common ceiling system. Gypsum boards come in various types, such as solid and hollow, and are widely used for ceilings and partitions in both residential and commercial spaces.

Faux Leather Decorative Panels: These panels are created through hot pressing techniques using wood chips and plywood. The "science wood" used is imported and processed with advanced technology, offering realistic textures and a wide range of colors. They are perfect for interior decoration, giving a natural and authentic feel to any space.
