DVR channel "unknown error" problem

When viewing the status in the VCR channel management, a yellow triangle will appear stating "Unknown error", so why this problem occurs and how to solve it! First of all, this phenomenon does not go out the following points:

1. The password of NVR and camera are inconsistent;

2. A third-party camera is added;

If it is a Haikang product, then the user name and password are inconsistent. The solution is to delete the camera added successfully in the channel management and add it again! Make the password of the camera and the recorder the same! Channel management-The IP channel can be used to add cameras in a custom way. When adding, the administrator password is the camera password.

If a third-party camera is added, the following steps should be taken to solve this problem:

1. Select the channel that prompts the error and click Delete.

2. Contact the third-party manufacturer to confirm the IP address of the camera (on the same network segment as the recorder), the onvif protocol, the onvif management port number, and the user name and password of the camera (if the camera has no password, please set the camera password to 12345 first) .

3. In the channel management-channel configuration interface, click on the custom add, enter the camera parameters to add.

Note that the issues that need to be noted in addition to the above solutions are:

1. The new version of the camera needs to be activated for the first time. If the camera is not activated, it will be added to the NVR and an unknown error will occur. If activation via NVR fails, you can modify the IP address of the recorder first and then reactivate or try to activate directly with the computer SADP software.

2. If the recorder is an inactive version, it is recommended to upgrade to a new version before adding it according to the above steps.

3. When the account is locked, the current lock can be unlocked by restarting the camera after power off or modifying the IP address of the recorder. If the camera has been added to the NVR, the camera will always be locked due to the automatic reconnection mechanism. You need to delete the IP channel in the NVR first, and then add it again!
