According to the General Administration of Customs, China's exports of plastic products from January to August increased by 15.5% year-on-year to 4,877,575 tons, while imports of primary plastics decreased by 1.1% year-on-year to 15.74 million tons.
According to preliminary statistics released by the General Administration of Customs of China on September 10, in August 2010, China exported 666,701 tons of plastic products, and cumulative exports from January to August were 4,877,575 tons, an increase of 15.5% over the same period of 2009.
The data also showed that in August 2010, the primary shape of plastic imports was 1.99 million tons. From January to August, the cumulative import volume was 15.74 million tons, which was 1.1% lower than the same period in 2009.
