Carbide indexable tools are quite common in some advanced machining plants abroad. It is popular because of its many advantages. During the "seventh five-year" period in China, this technology has made great progress and has become more and more widely used in enterprises. It has been listed as a national key promotion project by the State Science and Technology Commission, the State Planning Commission and the Ministry of Electrical and Mechanical Services.
