Recently, the "Safe Production Elemental Management System" of the Tingxia Reservoir has been granted an invention patent by the State Intellectual Property Office. This marks another significant achievement following the utility model patent it received last November. According to reports, this system is the only invention patent in the top management level within China's safety production field. It represents a groundbreaking approach that integrates the concept of elementalization with informatization, networking, and automation. The system not only holds high theoretical value but also offers broad application potential across various industries.
Since the implementation of the safe production elemental management model in October 2006, the Tingxia Reservoir has successfully identified and eliminated over 100 safety hazards annually. For more than six years, there have been no safety accidents reported. It is estimated that the system has saved more than 200,000 yuan in labor costs each year, and the overall benefits brought by the reservoir are immeasurable. The system has now been widely promoted and applied in dozens of large and medium-sized reservoirs, as well as in other industries both inside and outside the province.
Through the elemental management approach, relevant organizations have effectively addressed key issues such as incomplete responsibility enforcement, insufficient hazard inspections, and the lack of a long-term effective mechanism in production safety management. It has also improved the efficiency of setting up and managing safety protocols, offering strong technical support for the modernization of safety management practices.
