The thoughts returned five years ago. They were in Wenchuan, 100 kilometers away from Lushan . That experience left me unforgettable. As a member of the first batch of earthquake relief medical squads, they spent six days and nights in the disaster area . Fear, fatigue, touching and pride are the key words of that time. Every time I think of it, I always feel tears involuntarily. Five years later, the same was the first two days after the earthquake, I rushed to the disaster again. This time, I didn't have the embarrassment of 5 years ago. I know what I will face and know what I can do. Along the way, disaster relief vehicles lined up in teams, loaded with rescue forces, heavy disaster relief machinery, food and water to the disaster area. At key intersections, traffic policemen from Ya'an around assisted with the command and released them intermittently, giving priority to the most urgently needed personnel and materials. All are so orderly. Continuously, a large truck from the opposite side was filled with mud and sand, which meant that roads were blocked by landslides, but it also meant that the blocked road was being opened. Landslides and aftershocks continue. The road in Jizhong is still dangerous, but it is much calmer than the thrills that followed the demolition forces five years ago.

As our hospital's medical team was one of the first rescue teams to reach the disaster area, the tents allocated had no bottom, no front and rear curtains, and no banners. After waking up, I saw volunteers already working to help clean up medical waste. We continue to treat the wounded. It is gratifying that the number of wounded people is far less than the previous two days. Overnight, the National Emergency Medical Rescue Team arrived in Lushan, and a mobile hospital was completed immediately and began to receive medical consultations. ENT Physicians and Surgeons, testing, radiology, operating room, epidemic prevention ⋯⋯ everything, just like a standard two general hospitals. After the baptism of major disasters such as the Wenchuan and Yushu earthquakes, our emergency response has been more rapid and timely, and medical assistance has become more scientific and orderly.
