DBT launches fourth-generation intercity high-speed train officially put into use in 2017

ICE4 is mainly used to replace the old ICE1 and ICE2. The appearance of the ICE4 is not much different from that of the ICE3. The speed of the ICE4 is limited to 250 km/h. Because there is a stop at an average speed of 80 km according to the situation in Germany, it is suitable for a section with a speed of more than 300 km/h. Significant changes in hardware are the addition of eight bicycle-capable positions per car, which is also suitable for Germans who like hiking, and it is more convenient for disabled people to get on the wheelchair and park in the car.

ICE4 also has some small and novel places, such as the lighting of the car can be changed, morning yellow, noon blue, red at night, it is said that this light change is more comfortable for passengers. There is also an emergency indication cursor on the channel ground pointing to the exit. Each seat has a power outlet that allows passengers to surf the Internet and use mobile communications. Compared to the ICE3, the new generation of trains uses more lightweight materials and is therefore more energy efficient. But the seating space is more like the seat on the plane, the comfort is slightly inferior to the ICE3. In general, the ICE4 is a practical high-speed train.
