PTFE split wire packing


PTFE split wire packing, also known as high-performance valve packing for strong corrosive media, is manufactured from sintered and fully stretched multi-strand PTFE wire. The material is completely impregnated with PTFE and re-impregnated during the weaving process, ensuring excellent structural strength, density, and resistance to compression and extrusion. This type of packing is ideal for harsh environments where chemical resistance is critical.

The PTFE wire packing is immersed in a tetrafluoroethylene solution multiple times during production, enhancing its flexibility, dimensional stability, and low compression coefficient. It offers superior performance under high pressure and temperature conditions, making it one of the top choices in industrial sealing applications.

This packing is suitable for a wide range of chemical compounds, including acids, bases, solvents, and various gases, except for molten alkaline metals. It is commonly used in high-speed rotating shafts, rods, pistons, valves, and expansion joints where reliability and durability are essential.
