A soft sealing butterfly valve features a disc that is mounted in the diameter direction of the pipe. Within the cylindrical passage of the valve body, the disc rotates around its axis, with a rotation angle ranging from 0° to 90°. When the disc rotates 90°, the valve is fully open. This type of valve is commonly used for on-off control and flow regulation in pipeline systems. The new high-life stainless steel butterfly valve offers improved performance compared to traditional models. However, there are still some challenges in its application. Soft-sealed butterfly valves are widely used in various industries such as oil, chemical, metallurgy, and hydropower due to their reliable sealing and ease of operation.
